Our First Trip tothe Zoo!

Today, we decided to take Chas to the zoo. He got great news from the cardiologist on monday. Dr. Lacey, said that the blood flow through the area that they we're worried about has increase. That means that we do not have to have angiopasty at this time. He looked so good and his oxygen stats were in the 80's, so she said she didn't need to see us for at least three months. Not that we don't love them for the great thigs that they have done for our son, but it was music to our ears. This means that we can start acting like a family and doing family things. We still have to be careful about germs. They requested that everyone in the family must get a flu shot, or at least everyone that's around him regularly.
Due to our good news we decieded that we'd take our son to the zoo. I'm going to say that this isen't a good age for the zoo, or a good time of year to go. It was humid and he feel asleep about five minutes after we walked through the gate. When he did wake up he enjoyed looking around and watching the otters swim around.

Chas, is doing well. I love to dress him up with his little hats, and outfits that everyone has bought for him. We go to the cardiologist on Monday, and hope to find out when our angioplasty is going to be.
This past week he was running a fever, so we went to pediatrician. The checked him over and found nothing to be wrong. I told her that, Chas, is teething and maybe that's the cause. I was told that fevers are not relatated to teething. Which from multiple moms and co-workers I have heard otherwise. To make a long story short, I come home from work last night to a baby with little red dots all over his body. We called the pediatrician on call and she remembered us being in a couple of days earlier for a fever. She asked if he was still running a fever? I told her not for the last day and a half. She said for me to spread his skin, if the spots disapear and then reapear when I let go it's Roseola. Sure enough, they disappeared when I spread the skin.
At this point I was thanking God that we didn't have to go to the ER. Needless to say, he should have these horable spots for about a week. God bless our little man.

I love it when my Meme comes to visit with me. I just don't understand why mommy to put these ridiculous hats on me though.

Look Who Came to Visit!!!!!

This is a little late being posted, bu if you've ever cared for a new born then you should understand the delay. Back in early August Colton and Dakota came to visit. I'm pretty sure they had a good time. They stopped by to meet the man of the hour and take some pictures.
